The requirements of a mechanical system differ greatly between industries and building types. While office or classroom designs require 15%-25% outside air, designs for laboratories or hospitals may require 100% outside air with HEPA filters.
Even more complicated are the HVAC systems serving clean rooms, requiring upwards of 700 air changes per hour, extremely high air quality, and in some cases entire ceilings made of air filters. Bala's designs have spanned all system types for a variety of facilities.
