Stockton University’s $178.3 million Atlantic City campus is the newest addition to the university’s master plan. The campus includes a three-story academic center and five-story oceanfront residence hall with 145 apartment-style rooms for more than 500 students.
Bala helped to develop the Owner Project Requirements, performed a commissioning review of the design intent, performed multiple site visits for meetings, walk-through, installation checks, start-up witnessing and functional testing of critical building systems. Bala also coordinated with the project team to expedite the closeout of corrective actions found during testing. Both buildings incorporate sustainability criteria for energy efficiency and environmental stewardship but did not formally seek LEED certification.
