As Chief Executive Officer and President, Kim oversees the entire enterprise with a focus on strategic development and growth.  She possesses a strong business acumen, understanding of our industry, and is committed to Bala's clients.

She has harnessed more than 25 years of AEC experience and financial acumen to successfully execute an aggressive growth plan that has doubled the size of the firm in the last five years. 

Under her direction, the company’s revenues have diversified to include emerging opportunities in mission critical/data center, high rise/real estate, corporate, life care, life sciences and education. Additionally, Bala’s footprint has scaled significantly across the U.S., delivering MEP, Structures, Technology, Commissioning and Sustainability solutions. 

She also manages the strategic functions for all offices, including the engineering operations, Human Resources, legal, and marketing.  Kim works closely with each of our practice groups and oversees the enterprise-wide initiatives for mentoring. 

Kimberly’s industry and community achievements include having been named to the Philadelphia TITAN 100 Hall of Fame, the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs and Women of Distinction awards, and the Boston Real Estate Times Outstanding Women of Commercial Real Estate award. Kimberly is a member of the Board of Directors for Bala and Painters USA.
