With more than 30 years of AEC leadership experience, and a deep knowledge of the Philadelphia market in particular, he has demonstrated a track record of driving growth and executing strategic initiatives that build strong client relationships. As Chief Growth Officer, Shawn is responsible for leading the firm’s sales and business development strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth across markets, clients and services.

Shawn is deeply involved with AEC industry and Philadelphia-focused professional organizations, most notably as a Board Member for The Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, ACE Mentor Program of America, and Philadelphia Anchors for Growth and Equity (PAGE). He is also a member of the Carpenters Company of Philadelphia and The Union League of Philadelphia. 

Additionally, Shawn’s personal volunteer philosophy closely aligns with Bala’s culture of giving back to the communities we serve. He is a Board Member and Treasurer for the Cannonball Kids’ Cancer Foundation and was the Chairman of the American Heart Association’s Hard Hats with Heart. He has been very involved with the Boy Scouts of American – Good Scout Council and coached his three sons in basketball and soccer.
