Bala provided comprehensive design services for the new 4-story building featuring 60% lab and 40% office space. Located on a unique corner site next and existing high-rise building, our structural team used secant piles to provide retention, which supported the site during construction and also created the buildings permanent foundation walls. This enabled the creation of a full basement and maximizing the available area on the upper floors.
Inside , the building is designed with floor-through suites that flood the space with natural light. The design seamlessly integrated advanced laboratory infrastructure with office space, connected by shared meeting rooms and contemporary work areas.
