Calling back to the grand apartment buildings of the past, The Alexander is a 34-story, 483,000 SF residential tower featuring brick, cast stone and granite cladding. The residential tower has 264 apartment units, 13 townhouses at the base and ground floor retail space. This project also included a new 24,000 SF Mormon meeting house west of the tower and a 105,000 SF parking garage.
The 32-story, brick and masonry residential tower rises 483,000 SF into the Philadelphia skyline. The building features 264 rental apartments and 13 3-story townhouses. Street level retail is also showcased on the 16th and Vine Street side of the tower.
The 105,000 SF underground parking garage offers 240 parking spaces for residents.
Bala’s technology group performed infrastructure and audiovisual design services for the amenity spaces and designed telecommunications cabling infrastructure services within the individual units of the building.
