The City of Jersey City and Liberty Science Center are collaborating to create this new curated “minicity”, focused on bolstering local education and economic growth in key STEM sectors. Grounded by four pillars, Scitech Scity will serve tech entrepreneurs, scientists, students and other forward thinking people and organizations. Edge Works, the 8-story mixed-use building, is the economic and creative hub for SciTech Scity campus, offering a variety of workspaces, an advanced 3D-printing lab, tech gallery, research and development labs, meeting spaces and conference center.
Bala’s technology team is advising on best practices for IoT technologies to support a unique multi-tenant lab environment and is leading design and RFP management for the exterior feature video wall which will act as a focal entry point to the campus.
