Bala | SVA has been the lead volunteer MEP consultant for numerous restoration projects at the historic Garrett-Jacobs Mansion in the Mt. Vernon area. Built in 1853, this former homestead is now home to the Engineers Club and hosts meetings, weddings, and other special events.
Bala completed the replacement of the heating plant and full MEP systems infrastructure updates over the years. Areas of restoration in the historic building include the Campbell Room, the ASHRAE Room, the Posey Room, the Entrance Foyer HVAC, the Votta Conference Room, Drawing Room, and other miscellaneous renovations.
