Synthetic Chemistry Pilot Plant Upper Merion, PA
The scope of the project involved the installation of six reactors ranging in size from 30 to 300 gallons. A centrifuge and a vacuum oven were also relocated to the building. A new mezzanine level was designed to support the process equipment. A new fume scrubber system, reactor single fluid heat transfer system, and chilled water system, which included an air cooled condenser and a packaged chiller, were also designed.
Manufacturing Process Consolidation Piscataway, NJ
Project included glass lined and stainless steel reactors, centrifuges, vacuum dryers, blenders, dust collectors, pumps, piping and control systems. A nitrogen inerting and blanketing system was also designed for the reactors. A single fluid heating/cooling system was designed for two of the reactors.
