Following a Master Plan Analysis, this active retirement community selected three main projects to undergo in order to improve their current facilities. Since then, Bala has worked with Holy Redeemer Lafayette on additional projects including new HVAC design services and a Facility Conditions Assessment.
Renovations to the Personal Care (PC) space included a mixture of room renovations and converting existing studio units into 20 units. Other upgrades included a garden addition, modernization and repairs to the mechanical and electrical units that serve patient areas and renovations to two common areas.
Bala also provided engineering services to replace the existing fire alarm system serving the facility, which has reached the end of its useful service life. We also replaced the nurse call system.
