This former Four Seasons Hotel, now owned by Hilton Hotels, underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to modernize the space. The hotel is comprised of 391 rooms, an indoor heated pool, spa, gym and restaurant.
Bala was chosen to perform the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP/FP) services for the entire renovation including the 20,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, the fitness area, pool, restaurant and lobby.
We designed a Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes and ductwork for the first floor and basement of the hotel and new fan coil units on floors 3 through 5. A new central plant was also designed and installed on the roof of the hotel.
Bala's electrical group was tasked with re-designing the layouts to all the guestrooms. This included a door key system and removing the house phones from each room. They also provided the power for the courtyard and terrace lighting, the restaurant and fitness area.
Other services Bala performed included the rooftop deck bar, new pantry areas, housekeeping rooms and large conference spaces.
