Bala is Sub-Consultant to GEI/Bourne Engineering in the design for Berths 11 and 12 Rehabilitation at Conley Terminal in South Boston. Bala’s responsibilities include demolition design of existing electrical and fire protection systems associated with Berth platform structural rehabilitation scope. Final electrical design restores Berth support systems. Bala’s responsibilities include power and communication infrastructures to support shore power, 60 LT crane power and communications, high-mast lighting, proposed new main terminal substation services, security pathways and associated requirements for inland support system.
Bala is also responsible for the demolition design of the existing electrical and fire protection systems associated with Berth platform structural rehabilitation scope.
