The historic Union League of Philadelphia, a cornerstone of the city since 1862, artfully blended its rich heritage with modern sophistication, with its new rooftop restaurant, Trumbauer's. The addition, adds a 6th story atop the League House (built in 1865), and seamlessly blends French Renaissance architecture with modern elegance. It offers guests a warm and inviting dining experience while enjoying expansive views of the city beneath a spectacular skylight.
Engineering requirements included new plumbing and electrical infrastructure, and independent heating and cooling systems to allow for flexible operation. Technology design focused on providing a flexible technology infrastructure to support normal operations and special events while respecting the clean architecture and minimizing the visibility of technology within the space.
